01. Service Scope
Services Offered
Joy Quest provides professional production services including: 2D and 3D art creation, character and environment animation, web and application development, quality assurance and testing, UI/UX design, and branding/visual identity.
Engagement Process

02. Intellectual Property
Ownership Structure
Client Owns: Final deliverables upon full payment and rights to use assets for intended purposes as specified in contract.
Joy Quest Retains: Rights to production techniques and methodologies, portfolio and promotional usage rights, and reusable components or internal assets.
Work-for-Hire
For projects explicitly contracted as "work-for-hire," full intellectual property rights transfer to the client upon completion and payment, as specified in the project agreement.
03. Payment Terms
Payment Schedule
- • 50% deposit upon project initiation
- • 25% milestone payments at agreed stages
- • Final 25% upon delivery and approval
Late Payments
Invoices are due within 14 days. Late payments may incur late fees of 2% per month, suspension of work, and withholding of final deliverables.
04. Revisions & Changes
Each project includes 2 rounds of revisions within the agreed scope. Changes to the original project scope require a written change request and updated project agreement. Additional work beyond agreed scope will be billed separately.
05. Project Timelines
We commit to delivering work according to agreed timelines, subject to timely client feedback and no major scope changes. Timeline adjustments may occur due to client-side delays in feedback or force majeure events beyond our control.
06. Client Responsibilities
Clients must provide clear requirements, timely feedback (within 3 business days), and necessary access to systems or materials.
07. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to protect confidential information shared during engagement and use information solely for project purposes. For sensitive projects, a separate Non-Disclosure Agreement may be executed.
08. Limitation of Liability
Joy Quest is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service or project in question.
09. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement by providing 30 days written notice. Upon termination, client pays for work completed to date, and Joy Quest delivers work-in-progress where applicable.
10. Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation, followed by mediation or legal proceedings in Malaysian courts if necessary.
